
Stay-at-home activities continue to reign supreme for many, and for the second quarter of 2022 Chase is featuring bonus categories that will reward you for some online and streaming-related spending.

Select streaming services (including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Netflix, Sling, Apple Music, SiriusXM, Spotify, YouTube TV, HBO Max, Paramount+, Showtime and more).
Cardholders have to activate bonus categories online by June 14 to be eligible for the elevated rate, which can be earned retroactively.
Bonus categories for Q2 2022 differ from what was offered in the same quarter last year, but “streaming services” was featured by Chase both in the first and third quarter of 2021 and has been offered in years prior. However, this category now includes new services like HBO Max, Apple Apple TV, Paramount+, Peacock and Showtime, which were not previously included.
Although Amazon.com was a featured bonus category in 2020, it remains a relatively rare category for the issuer.

In addition to rotating bonus categories each quarter, the Chase Freedom® earns 1% back on all purchases.
Nerdy tip: The Chase Freedom® is closed to new applicants, but holders of the legacy card can still earn 5% on quarterly bonus categories after activation.
The $0-annual-fee Chase Freedom Flex℠ earns the following:
